Chinese embassy donates ICT equipment to Kapeka as Frank Tumwebaze warns of viewing wrong content
The Minister for ICT and National Guidance, Hon. Frank K Tumwebaze has today received ICT equipment for St James Cove Primary School from Chinese embassy and Star times at Kapeka, Nakaseke district.
The Minister challenged the beneficiaries to ensure that their children use the equipment to view the correct content that builds them morally and skillfully. “Wrong content corrupts and is a threat to the growing generation. Let’s all mind about the content our children view and consume,” Frank Tumwebaze said.
“A busy Sunday day out in Kapeka Nakaseke district with officials from Chinese embassy and star times handing over donated ICT digital migration equipment to St James Cove Primary school and selected village households in the Kapeka area. The industrial area pioneered by Gen Saleh in Kapeka is picking and the area is destined for serious investments. I congratulated those that received the donated equipment but challenged them to ensure that their children use them to view the correct content that builds them morally and skillfully. Wrong content corrupts and is a threat to the growing generation. Let’s all mind about the content our children view and consume,” Tumwebaze said.
