Chinese Business Community donates to Luyanzi College

The Chinese Business Community in Uganda under their umbrella China Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Uganda has today donated scholastic materials, basketball court among other things to Luyanzi in Bweyogerere.

State Minister for Education in charge of Sports Hon. Charles Bakabulindi was the chief guest and was flanked by the Chinese Ambassador to Uganda H.E Zheng Zhu Qiang.

The donated materials are valued at over Shs100m. Luyanzi College was credited for teaching Chinese culture at the school formerly called Progressive SSS Bweyogerere.

Bakabulindi assured the Chinese community that the relationship between China and Uganda is growing strong and stronger day by day. The Minister applauded the school management for teaching Chinese Culture and language in Uganda.

“It has been hard for Ugandan to study in China because they would first learn the language for almost a year and with the service now here, it will be easy for us to connect with China,” Bakabulindi said.
