Yesterday, the Bushenyi District leadership, led by Chairman Hajj Jafari Bassajjabalaba, alongside NWSC MD Dr. Eng. Silver Mugisha, inspected the nearing completion of the Warugo Water Project. This crucial project will significantly enhance water supply in the area.

During the inspection, the team toured the raw water intake, treatment plant, and reservoir tank, with the project almost complete. NWSC MD Dr. Eng. Silver Mugisha expressed gratitude to the district council and landowners for their support and emphasized the importance of extending water to more villages and urged collaboration for environmental protection.

RDC Bushenyi, Mr. Robert Atuheirwe, highlighted the project’s significance in fulfilling clean water access goals and urged leaders to prioritize development over divisive politics.

The District Chairman Hajj Jafari Basajabalaba commended NWSC for extending water to rural communities and thanked all stakeholders for their cooperation.

The Mayor of Bushenyi-Ishaka Municipality expressed gratitude to NWSC and emphasized the importance of extending water coverage.
With the project nearing completion, NWSC is gearing up for an official commissioning soon. Let’s celebrate this milestone and look forward to improved access to clean water in Bushenyi.
