The Minister of State for ICT and National Guidance who also doubles as the MP for Usuk County in Katakwi District Hon. Peter Ogwang has said Bunyangabu LC5 chairman did not only attack the RDC but also the President of Uganda.
The LC5 chairperson for Bunyangabu District, James Ategeka Mugarama on Tuesday morning beat up Jane Asiimwe, the Resident District Commissioner (RDC) for reportedly grounding the government car which is allocated to his office.
Hon. Peter Ogwang said it was disgraceful from the chairman saying violence is not what need now.
“This is very disgraceful of the LCV. Violence is not what we need now, but cooperation. The Law will certainly take its course. This is not just an attack on the RDC but an attack on the President,” Hon. Peter Ogwang said.
