AUTO reaches out to kids of Little Angels Primary School
Living on the shores of the deepest lake on the continent is a tongue twister only Little Angels primary school can go about. Safety, however is paramount and we are proud of the tourism industry whose hands have not fallen short.
Uganda Tour Operators Board (AUTO) with Bunyonyi Safaris Resort (BSR) Director Charlotte Kamugisha who is also part of (AUTO) brought smiles to the children after she was sighted. As part of the body’s corporate social responsibility, they engaged the orphanage on a tourism talk and a lot was discussed in the quest to see that their standards of living are improved and our tourist features are preserved.
Plants were planted and of course a meal was shared to cement the gesture of togetherness. Upon the safety of the children who cross the lake everyday, life jackets were given to everyone to ensure that lives are saved.
“We applaud the gesture of the tourism board and as a resort that has volunteering services, encourage you to be part (at your will) of the cause every time you at Bunyonyi”.
