Angella Katatumba Foundation, The Diplomatic Corps handover Shs 185m to Uganda Cancer Institute
Humanitarian and singer Angella Katatumba has continued to show good cause of fighting against the deadly cancer disease. The ‘Mulago Yaffe’ together with Diplomatic Corps and Mulago Yaffe team handed over to the Uganda Cancer Institute (UCI), a cheque of 185,000,000 Million UGX (USD 52,000) with Cash, that they fundraised during the 2nd Annual Black Tie Dinner that took place at Kampala Serena Hotel last year on 19th November 2016.
At the dinner, His Excellency President Uhuru Kenyatta of the Republic of Kenya flew in and attended as the chief guest to the high-profile function.
Most Ugandans have applauded the singer for leading the cause against cancer.
