Singer and Philanthropist Angella Katatumba of the ‘Mulago Yaffe’ fame has this morning, handed over a 15 Million UGX cheque to Crown Healthcare UG Ltd to buy the necessary equipment needed for the Cancer patients at the Uganda Cancer Institute.
The 15 Million UGX is from the proceeds of Angella’s extremely successful sold out concert, four weeks ago on July 1st 2016 at the Kampala Serena Hotel.
In attendance was H.E Dr Boney Katatumba(Angela’s father ), Victoria Walusansa the Assistant Director of Uganda Cancer Institute, Christine Namulindwa the PRO of Uganda Cancer Institute, doctors, nurses and various journalists.

Angella has promised, God willing, to continue with her awareness campaign as the Face of Uganda Cancer Institute in the fight against cancer.
