Angella Katatumba appointed the face of Uganda Cancer Institute
Singer Angella Katatumba has been appointed the face of Uganda Cancer Institute, Showbiz Uganda has learned.

Speaking on Friday 13th May, 2016 at the Launch of the Cancer Awareness Magazine under the theme “Awamu Join the Cancer Fight” at Victoria Hall Sheraton Hotel, The UCI Director Dr. Jackson Orem and the Professor Fred Okuku of Uganda Cancer Institute at Mulago, confirmed Angella’s appointment after critically observing her Mulago Yaffe project, previous donations and commitment to the betterment of Mulago Hospital.

In attendance was the Comprehensive Community Cancer Program coordinator Dr. Noleb Mugisha among others who highly credited Angella as the perfect personality to lead all Ugandan awareness campaigns in the fight against cancer at the institute.
This comes after the ‘Mulago Yaffe’ singer has been invited to attend and perform at the United Nations FIRST ever Humanitarian Summit slated for 23rd and 24th May, 2016 in Istanbul Turkey.
