The Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of ICT and National Guidance Ms Aminah Zawedde on Tuesday delivered a lecture to senior military officers currently undertaking the National Security and Strategic Studies Course at the National Defence College Uganda.
Her focus was on the Strategic Communication Policy, where she addressed the evolving information environment, the integral role of communication as an instrument of power, and the necessity of harmonized, citizen-centered government communication.
She thanked the Commandant and faculty for the invitation to engage with participants and contribute to such critical strategic discussions. She also commended them for the continuous refresher courses for our men and women in uniform.
