Airtel has entered into partnership with the Uganda golf fraternity and initially sponsoring the ladies nights on selected Fridays.

In addition to the ladies nights Airtel shall be sponsoring four ladies Ladies tournaments (Gadies & Lentlemen 21st June, Tombstone 16th August, Entrepreneurship 16th November & Turkey Trot 20th December) in addition to every 3rd Friday 15 ladies will be allowed free tutorship courtesy of golf club and Airtel Uganda. Airtel Uganda has consistently supported the sporting fraternity in Uganda and aside from golf; it has sponsored many sports activities over the years including Football, Rugby, Basketball, Volleyball, Table tennis and Golf amongst others. Mrs. Annette Kiconco, head of the Pro Ladies Section Uganda Golf Club acknowledged Airtel Uganda’s support for the golfing fraternity saying that the competition is expected to be tougher than ever this year.
