Airtel Uganda Customer Service Week Kicks Off
Airtel Directors and Senior Managers to serve customers at various touch points
Airtel Uganda has kicked off a week long list of exciting activities to celebrate its customers as part of the global commemoration of the Customer Service week, from Monday 1st to Friday, 5th October, 2018.
Customer Service Week is an international celebration of the importance of customer service and of the people who serve and support customers on a daily basis.
Themed ‘Excellence Happens Here’, the week will see among other activities, Airtel Uganda leadership visiting select retail outlets to engage and interact with customers as well as give away surprise prizes. Customers will also have the opportunity to enjoy cake served to them by Airtel staff when they visit different Airtel shops across the country.
Ms. Lynda Nabayiinda the Customer Service Director at Airtel Uganda noted that, “Customers have been very fundamental in the growth story of Airtel Uganda and we are excited at this opportunity to celebrate and interact with them during this week.”
“We welcome you all to our head office and our outlets to try out our World-class customer care and get cutting-edge solutions to meet your every need,” she added.
In addition to the happy hour moments with surprise gifts and cake at the shops for the customers, Airtel employees across the country will also engage in exciting activities such as spot rewards for the customer handling teams plus a raffle draw for surprise goodies, aimed at rewarding and encouraging their staff members.
“With over 10 million customers on our network, we have over 10 million reasons to celebrate and this Customer Service week is one of the many ways we show our customers that we truly appreciate them,” Nabayiinda concluded.
