Sanyuka TV back in play as the FUFA Big League final is set to be broadcast live

After going months with no football to broadcast, it will feel like the first day back at school as the Sanyuka TV sports live broadcast crew heads out to Njeru Technical Center to broadcast live the 2019-20 StarTimes FUFA Big League playoffs final on Wednesday with coverage set to start at 11 am before the 12 pm kick-off.

Kitara FC and Kiboga Young FC are set to face off in the final of the promotional playoff behind closed doors.

Kiboga Young advanced to the final after coming from a goal down to beat pre-playoffs favorites Ndejje University 3-1 courtesy of goals by captain Jamaldine Buchocher, Brian Olega, and Sula Wambede. Ndejje’s Sula Yumusiime had opened the scoring from the penalty spot.

On the other hand, Kitara Football Club beat Kataka 7-6 in a penalty shootout after a goalless 90 minutes.

The winner of the tie will be the 16th team in the 2020-21 StarTimes Uganda Premier League. They will join MYDA FC and UPDF, the other two teams that already secured promotion after topping the Elgon and Rwenzori groups in the league that ended prematurely due to COVID-19.
