Ministry of Health announces 16 new COVID-19 cases in Uganda

The Ministry of Health Uganda has announced 16 new cases of COVID-19.

Results of COVID-19 tests done on 05 July 2020 confirm 14 new cases.

The cumulative confirmed cases of Ugandans is now 953.

The 16 cases are; 11 Ugandan truck drivers who arrived from Kenya (9) via Malaba, (1) from South Sudan via Elegu and (1) from Tanzania via Mutukula.

5 are contacts from previous contacts from Kyotera, Luweero and Amuru districts.
