Uganda records 14 new cases of COVID-19

The Ministry of Health has announced 14 new cases of COVID-19 caused by Coronavirus from yesterday’s samples. 
Results from samples tested on 18 June 2020 confirm 14 new COVID-19 cases. Total confirmed cases are now 755 in Uganda.
The 14 are: 5 truck drivers: 2 from Busia, 1 from Mirama Hills, 1 from Bunagana, 1 from Lia, 9 among contacts and alerts: 5 contacts from Kampala, 3 from Kyotera and 1 from Nebbi.
In related development, 27 foreign truck drivers tested positive for COVID-19 and were returned to their respective countries
Uganda has so far registered a Total Covid-19 Recoveries of 492 with no death.
Samples from Points of Entry tested yesterday are 1,932.
Samples from alerts and contacts: 1,109
Total samples tested yesterday are 3,041
All contacts to previously confirmed  cases were under quarantine at the time of test. #StaySafeUganda
