The Minister of ICT and National Guidance Hon. Frank Tumwebaze yesterday inspected ongoing works of the ICT Innovation Hub in Nakawa.
The minister has assured the public that the innovation is near completion and progress is so far good.
“Inspected the on going works of the ICT Innovation Hub at Nakawa being constructed by the UPDF engineer brigade. Despite some logistical challenges that affected completion timelines, the progress is so far good more or less 90%. Beautiful furniture supplied by Uganda Prisons,” Frank Tumwebaze said.
”The hub when opened hopefully early next year will offer space to many young innovators. Many of our other partners will join the hub to offer mentorship to the innovators,” the Minister added.
