The eagerly jazz concert of the year Jazz It Up With Airtel featuring Uganda’s jazz icon Isaiah Katumwa and South Africa’s international jazz icon Hugh Masekela is drawing nearer. With just 8 days to go, tickets for the show slated for 8th May at Victoria Hall, Kampala Serena Hotel are out and can be bought at all Airtel outlets and Kampala Serena Hotel Gift shop.
The tickets for May 8th event, which also doubles as Katumwa’s 20 years anniversary in jazz music go for shs 150,000 and will be graced my magical performances from none other than the 76 year old Hugh Ramopolo Masekela, a South African trumpeter, flugelhornist, cornetist, composer, and singer born in Kwa-Guqa Township, Witbank, South Africa.
The star will arrive in the country next week ahead of the show dubbed the biggest jazz festival this year.
