Roofings Rolling Mills was awarded Gold (top award) in the category of Manufacturing (Construction Materials) during the recently concluded Presidential Exporters Awards held at Imperial Royale Hotel in Kampala.
Along with other exporters in categories such as manufacturing, agri-business, fish& fish products and many others, Roofings was assessed on export performance, product diversification, corporate responsibility and their contribution towards Uganda’s socio-economic development.
During the awards, the Vice President of Uganda who represented President Yoweri Museveni congratulated Roofings and the other companies involved in the exports sector for being drivers of development in Uganda.
In the recent BUBU expo, the leading supplier of steel and plastic construction materials in Uganda received an award for recognizing exemplary performance in promoting BUBU.
