Speke Hotel’s workers threatened to strike this morning but the hotel’s Managing Director Rajiv Sudhir has called for calmness as they look into their grievances. Rajiv as the MD said he was aware of the strike and security was in place in case of violence as they sort them out. He called on workers’ to calm down as they look into the matter.

“The general manager was to sit the workers down and get their grievances and they settle it peacefully than demonstrating. We have talked to the workers and soon their grievances will be settled,” Rajiv said.
Efforts to reach the general manager Prabhat Mishra for comment were futile as his phone was off.
