Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) has confirmed to this website that Kampala-Entebbe Expressway is lit and complete and will be commissioned this Friday by HE President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
The Chinese Vice Premier, Wang Yang who is set to arrive in Uganda today 13th June 2018 for a four day state visit will also be part of the Commissioning ceremony.
The 51km road was constructed by China Communications Construction Company (CCCC) and this Friday it will be opened for use.
“We can confirm that the Kampala – Entebbe Expressway (51km) is LIT!!! And that it will be commissioned this Friday June 15th by H.E Kaguta Museveni,” UNRA posted.
