Bryan White real name Bryan Kirumira, founder of the Bryan White Foundation confirms the foundation is here to stay because it was founded with a purpose. It is not for showbiz like most people have judged.
The founder hatched the idea after carefully studying the economic situation in his home country especially among the youths. Coming up with the idea of ‘Awakening The Youths From Poverty’ was not a one day thing but a long time, well thought about and timely baked plan.
He served the plan on a golden platter the day he founded the foundation, because thousands of youths have since embraced and gained from it, a move that has given rise to so many doubters coming up with all sorts of claims about the founder, the foundation and the source of funds, going ahead to speculate the downfall of the idea, because they think the Founder is just like the other many “socialites” that have come and disappeared into thin air.
Well the good news is that, such is not about to happen because the Bryan White Foundation is here for a purpose and the founder is not a socialite but an activist who happens to do all this with great enthusiasm and concern for the youths of Uganda.
To the doubting Thomas’s better keep eyes wide open while more youths benefit from the foundation.
The founder insists that those expecting to meet him around bars sponsoring open bars, better brace themselves and instead join the PODIUM and support the cause to end poverty among the youths because such a scene is not about to happen and will never happen.
“I came with a purpose and not even those trying hard to push me against the wall with their social media abuses will succeed, neither will those claiming to know or to have heard about the sources of my funds. …no they will not. The foundation is a cross Generational foundation and it is here to stay. ”
The foundation is actually set to officially move to its new office on Mussajja Alumbwa Road Rubaga in the next few months.
He is also set to complete a mega hospital in Kajjansi along Entebbe Road with plans of making it a well facilitated hospital to offer complete treatment to people within in the next few months, setting up a textile industry to sit on the already purchased 500 acres of land in Mityana as a move to create more jobs for the youths.
The foundation is currently employing about 200 Ugandans, directly or indirectly associated with its day to day work.
The founder does not only awaken the youths from poverty through giving financial help, but has also made it a routine to inspire and motivate the youths by speaking to them, always spreading his message of hope, love, hard work, respect and has encouraged them to believe in self. He has helped many youths who had lost hope by restoring their confidence through preaching love and appreciation of what they do, their communities and their nation.
He has advised them to till the land for commercial purposes, to generally embrace agriculture instead of selling off the land hoping to find green pastures in the city.
He has talked to them about healthy living, family planning advantages, the need to work hard and save.
The founder, Bryan white foundation attributes his success to self-confidence and he says he is happy with what he is doing because he gains fulfillment. He says his satisfaction lies in seeing more youths crossing to the other side of earning a living.
The foundation continues to participate in community related activities of all categories as a way of passing the poverty fight message to the more youths across the country.
