The Minister of ICT and National Guidance Hon. Frank Tumwebaze together with the team from ICT Ministry has today inspected ongoing construction of ICT Hub in Nakawa.

The minister said he was happy to note that works have commenced & progress is good despite few logical delays. He said the quality of the foundations is super.

“Together with Permanent Secretary Vincent Bagiire, Ministry of ICT staff & UPDF Engineering brigade & consultants inspecting progress of the ICT Hub construction works. Despite a few logistical delays, I am happy to note that works have commenced & progress is good. The quality of the foundations is super,” Frank said.


In related development, the minister said ICT Committee of Parliament yesterday met to justify the Data Protection bill now being considered by the committee. He said the Objective of the bill is to protect privacy of individual and processing of personal info among others.
