Johnson Musinguzi sworn in as Kitagata Hospital new board chairman

Johnson Musinguzi was on Monday sworn in as the new Board chairman of Kitagata Hospital

The new Board Chairman of Kitagata Hospital in Sheema district was on Monday installed at the health facility located in Kitagata Town Council. The new chairman Mr. Johnson Musinguzi Byarabaha was handed the instruments of power and sworn in. Johnson said it’s an honor for him to serve as board head and that he is prepared to serve all people regardless of their background.

“We will ensure Kitagata Hospital gets back on the global map. We want collaboration with as many universities as possible for our students to do internship as well as being nurtured into the best doctors/health workers in future. We want to tag the nearby hot springs to the hospital to add its power of the healing therapy,” Johnson said.

The handover was witnessed by Sheema district VC Eldard Mwesigye, former Sheema South MP Dr Yorokamu Katwiremu, retired banker, James Kataryebwa, Nicholas Mwebaze, Cedric Mugabe and Sharon Bashisha from SDA.

Other board members  are; Dr Johnson Kabwishwa (DHO),  Dr Fiona Asiimwe (secretary),Vianney Muhwezi, Sylvia Tumwijukye, Edridah Kebaraza, Joyce Muthaketsya. The deputy CAO Sheema, Stephen Rubaihayo conducted the swearing in ceremony.
