The State Minister for Refugees, Relief and Disaster Preparedness, who also doubles as the Kitgum District Woman MP, Hon. Lillian Aber, has moved in to settle the pressing issues at Okidi Refugee Settlement Camp.
Today, the Minister engaged stakeholders in discussions concerning the Okidi Refugee Settlement. The meeting focused on reviewing progress, addressing emerging concerns, strengthening coordination among partners, and identifying practical solutions to ensure effective settlement management, peaceful coexistence, and improved service delivery for both refugees and host communities.
She described the meeting as a pure success in finding lasting solutions to the issues affecting the refugees and their hosting communities.
