The Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) coordinator Kampala Metropolitan Hajjat Kenyangi Sofia Safina has today joined residents of Kisenyi for the fourth National Cleaning Day exercise.
She was joined in Kisenyi–Mengo by Chairman Toyota Kaguta and members of the Kampala business community and participated in a community cleaning exercise.
The exercise demonstrated the importance of collective responsibility, community participation and environmental conservation in building cleaner, healthier and more organised communities.
Their participation sends a strong message that keeping our surroundings clean is not solely the responsibility of authorities but a shared duty that requires everyone’s involvement.
“A clean community begins with us. Let us take responsibility for the environment we share, let us join each other and clean our communities every day,” Hajjat Kenyangi Sofia Safina said.
