Bashaasha Family gathers at their country home in Bushenyi to remember their departed mother, 3 years after her death

The family of Canon Yorokamu Bashaasha this weekend gathered at their country home in Bushenyi to remember their mother, Lay Canon Keroi Bashaasha, three years after her death. In a remembrance note, Bashaasha and his children and their off springs described Late Keroi as the anchor of their home, a woman of deep faith, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion. Every principle she instilled, every prayer she whispered, and every lesson in integrity and hard work that she lived out continue to guide and inspire them each day.

“You will forever be in our hearts, no single that passes and we don’t remember you,” Katushabe Bashaasha said.

The family laid wraths to her resting place and remembered those memories they shared with their mother, wife and grand mother.

The family was joined by religious leaders, Local leaders and residents of Bushenyi as well as friends and colleagues.

Below is a full memory note from the family;

IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lay Canon Keroi Bashaasha
(24 October 2023 – 24 October 2026)

“Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: ‘Many do noble things, but you surpass them all.’ Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.”
Proverbs 31:28-30
Today marks three quiet and reflective years since you answered the call of your Creator and transitioned to eternal glory on 24th October 2023.
