Kiryandongo District Woman MP Hon. Katusiime Jovia Mbabazi has today joined residents, traders, and local leaders in commemorating National Cleaning Day at Kigumba Main Market in Kiryandongo District.
After the exercise, she called upon all residents of Kiryandongo to make cleanliness a daily responsibility, encouraging unity and collective action in keeping homes, markets, and public spaces clean.
“Demonstrating my commitment to community service, I actively participated in sweeping the market, collecting garbage, and promoting proper waste management alongside members of the community. I emphasized that a clean environment is essential for public health, business growth, and the dignity of our towns. I call upon all residents of Kiryandongo to make cleanliness a daily responsibility, encouraging unity and collective action in keeping homes, markets, and public spaces clean. Together, we build a cleaner, healthier, and more beautiful Kiryandongo,” Hon. Katusiime Jovia Mbabazi said.
