National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) knows how important reliable water is to your daily life, and sincerely apologises that you are currently experiencing an interruption in supply.
This is due to an emergency failure at their Masese Water Treatment Plant. Their technical team is already on site and working as quickly as possible to restore normal service.
Areas currently affected:
Jinja City centre, Njeru, Bugembe, Magamaga, Namulesa, Budondo, Iganga and Mayuge.
What you can do in the meantime
Please use any water you have as carefully as possible. We recommend prioritising essential needs such as drinking, cooking and hygiene.
NWSC understands this is inconvenient and they are doing everything they can to get water flowing again soon.
