Popular journalist Mr. Charles Odongtho has joined the race for the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) MP seat to represent Uganda (2026-2027).
His previous successful spells at Office of the Prime Minister, NTV, NBS, UBC and many other major media houses show that Mr. Charles is experienced and well exposed regarding East African political matters.
Him being social and friendly guy makes him a perfect match for the seat as he will be able to represent Uganda well.
He is young with a fresh mind to bring in new ideas to EALA using his vast experience on the politics regarding the East African region.
He is also a renowned close ally of the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) headed by the Chief of Defense Forces Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba which is slowly taking over the politics of Uganda.
Several people who hail from the West Nile have welcomed his quest for the seat with some saying the region deserves a share of the EALA cake.
