Kitgum District Woman MP elect who also doubles as the current district Woman MP, Hon. Aber Lillian, has described the rumours circulating in the media that she was involved in the recent Electoral outcomes in Kitgum as baseless and misleading.
In her official statement regarding the matter, Hon. Aber said such claims lack evidence and undermine the democratic process.
Below is her full statement on the matter;
“We note with concern the unfounded allegations circulating regarding Hon. Aber Lillian’s involvement in the electoral outcomes of Kitgum. Such claims lack evidence and undermine the democratic process. Security agencies serve the Republic, not individuals. We argue all stakeholders to focus on development issues affecting Kitgum and allow due process to unfold. Hon. Aber Lillian remains committed to serving with integrity and transparency.
