Hon. Jacklet Atuhaire Rwabukurukuru who is an effective and result oriented person has achieved numerous notable milestones in her career, particularly in serving the people of Sheema District.
Here are some of her key accomplishments;

Human Rights Advocacy
She served as a member of the Uganda Human Rights Commission (UHRC) Tribunal, awarding Shs115 million in compensation to victims of human rights abuses in Northern Uganda.

Played a significant role in promoting human rights and accountability, particularly in the context of security operations and detention.
Community Development
She donated over 80,000 hoes to the Sheema District community to combat famine and poverty, boosting agricultural production.

She empowered women through skills training programs like mushroom farming, energy-saving stoves, and liquid soap production, enabling them to earn a steady income.
Provided support to vulnerable communities, including during the COVID-19 pandemic, through donations and awareness campaigns.
Education and Digital Transformation
Pledged to donate more computers to schools in Sheema District to bridge the technology gap and equip learners with digital skills to be able to hustle well in the digital world.
Aims to support teachers in delivering interactive lessons and prepare Sheema’s children to compete globally.
Leadership Roles
She served as the Sheema Woman Member of Parliament from 2016 to 2021.
Hon. Jacklet has held positions in various organizations, including Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Bright Future Transporters Limited, Vice Chairperson of Uganda Association of Women Lawyers (FIDA UGANDA), and Council Member of Makerere University Business School.
