President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni tells NRM Delegates to lead in the fight against corruption

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni who also doubles as the NRM chairman has addressed NRM Delegates at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds. This was during the NRM Special Interest Groups (SIGs) today Monday.

H.E Museveni outlined Uganda’s economic journey, highlighting its expansion from $3.9 billion in 1986 to $66 billion today.

But his main calling was urging the National Resistance Movement (NRM) delegates to play a leading role in fighting corruption at the local government level and ensuring that government services reach the people.

All this is in preparation of the 2026 General elections. The NRM Delegates Conference is slated for Wednesday 27th and Thursday 28th at Kololo Ceremonial Grounds.
