OFFICIAL STATEMENT:

CEC DECISION ON MY CANDIDATURE AS NRM NATIONAL VICE CHAIRPERSON – WESTERN UGANDA.

Fellow members of the NRM Party and the People of Uganda;

After broad consultations with the Central Executive Committee (CEC), chaired by H.E. Kaguta Museveni, I have agreed to Withdraw my candidature from the race for NRM National Vice Chairman – Western Uganda.

This decision is made in the spirit of harmonization and unity within the NRM party, so that together we remain focused on the greater mission of strengthening and consolidating our Party.

As a loyal cadre of the NRM, I firmly believe that personal ambition must always give way to the collective good of the Party and the Country. It is in this spirit that I have taken this step, confident that it best serves the stability and cohesion of our Party (NRM).

I wish my colleagues who have remained in the race the very best, and I call upon all Ugandans to continue supporting and rallying behind the National Resistance Movement as the vehicle for Uganda’s continued progress and transformation as we consolidate the gains. NOWOMUGISHA SEDRACK NZAIRE.
