Former Kawempe North MP aspirant in the just concluded NRM primaries Hon. Hanifah Karadi yesterday appeared before the NRM Tribunal currently hearing petitions resulting from Parliamentary elections for NRM primaries .
In her submission, Hajjat Hanifah Karadi has requested the party Electoral Commission to cancel results for all those involved in rigging as a disciplinary measure to protect the legacy of the party and its continuity.
“If this is not done and free and fair elections organised, i see many will not stand in NRM party primary election next time because of fear of wasting their time and money due to massive rigging and impunity. Someone comes at last without mobilisation and bribes Electoral officials & security, they Fabricate results on D.R forms just and he/she is declared a winner,” Hanifah Karadi said.
The unfortunate part of this especially in opposition areas, it means that kind of a flag bearer will make the NRM fail to opposition candidate whatsoever.
