Kibanda North Constituency Kiryandongo District MP hopeful Mr. Likambo Bahti Taylor has sent Muslim community a special message as they celebrate Eid Adhua. “I wish to congratulate our Muslim brothers and sisters on the occasion of celebrating Eid Adhua. I call upon them to use festival and reflect on a significant moment of united and reflection for the Muslim community and other religious institutions,” he said.
Eid al- Adha, also known as the festival of sacrifice is one of the most important holidays in the Islamic calendar. It commemorates prophet Ibrahim’s unwavering faith and obedience to Allah, demonstrated by his willingness to sacrifice his son.
The festival is observed by Muslims worldwide through special prayers, charitable acts symbolizing devotion and generosity.
“Wishing you peace, joy and blessings as we celebrate faith, sacrifice and compassion. May this holy day bring unity and generosity to all,” Hon.Likambo Bahti Taylor concluded.
Likambo is set to contest for Kibanda North Constituency MP seat come 2026.
Meanwhile posters, Banners, caps, T-shirts for Hon. Likambo Bahti Taylor are out in the thousands and ready to be displayed everywhere in the constituency.
“Let come what may this time around…..the seat is ours. May the good Lord bless us! Long live Hon. Likambo Bahti Taylor, long live NRM,” Likambo said after printing the posters.
