Minister Peter Ogwang pledges more improved infrastructure for sports

The State Minister for Sports Hon. Peter Ogwang has said they will continue to advocate for improved sports facilities in the country to enhance and improve the sports across the country.

The Minister said while representing Minister of Education and Sports, Mama Janet Museveni at the official closing ceremony of the FEASSA Games 2024 at Bukedea Comprehensive School (BCS) earlier in the week.

“I want to congratulate Team Uganda for winning the overall championship of this year’s games. Thank you the ISF President, Mr. Laurent Petrynka for coming to Uganda. Your coming signifies the love for sports development. My sincere appreciation goes to the host schools, BCS and Amus College for successfully hosting the games. As Government, we shall continue advocating for improved sports infrastructure to enhance capacity building, talent identification and development,” Hon. Peter Ogwang said.
