Today during Bunyoro subregion PLU thanksgiving at Booma Grounds Hoima City, leaders and stakeholders in the region petitioned the CDF and SPA/SO Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba through the National Vice Chairman of PLU, Chairman Nuwagira Michael Kaguta aka Toyota for a public university in Bunyoro subregion region.
Emphasizing the need for a public university, Lord Mayor for Hoima City noted that Bunyoro people need education for their natives so that locals can benefit from the skilled labor opportunities in Oil, airport, and stadium all under construction.
The leaders also noted that land grabbing has become a trend in Bunyoro.
“Majority land grabbers disguise in UPDF uniforms hence scaring natives. This has made people homeless and hence developing negative attitudes on NRM and Mzee Museveni,” they noted.
They requested urgent intervention by the corruption fighter, CDF Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba on these land grabbers.
People appreciated Chairman Toyota for his resilience and hard work in promoting PLU and Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
They commended chairman Toyota for working with everyone irrespective of age, sex, religion and tribe an act that has inspired many Ugandans to love and support Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
They pledged to support PLU and Gen MK in all the upcoming missions.
