The Management of National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) Fort Portal Area wishes to inform its valued customers and the general public that there will be interruptions in water supply from Wednesday, 10th January 2024, to Saturday 13th January 2024.
This is to allow for system upgrade works at the Fort Portal Water Reservoirs.
The works are designed to boost water supply reliability in the area.
Subsequently, water supply to Fort Portal City, Kiko, Kijura, and the surrounding areas will be interrupted during this downtime.
Customers are therefore advised to store enough water and use it sparingly as it takes time for the system to stabilize after a total plant shutdown.
All inconveniences are highly regretted.
