Susan Muhwezi, the Chief of AGOA has led a team of exporters to Kapeeka to meet Gen. Salim Saleh.
The team briefed him on what they are exporting to USA under AGOA.
The two parties also discussed challenges that hinder them from increasing their exports.
Saleh assured them that the government is working on having those challenges sorted out.
“Led a team of exporters who met Gen. Salim Saleh in Kapeeka. They briefed him about what they are exporting to USA under AGOA as well as challenges that hinder them from increasing their exports such as limited production, high cost of doing business like power and machinery,” Susan said after the meeting.
