220 Million Shillings, Four Motorbikes Won As ‘Beera Millionaire with Airtel Money’ Promotion Enters Final Month

As Airtel’s ‘Beera Millionaire with Airtel Money’ promotion enters the final month, twenty-six lucky Ugandans have joined the list of subscribers whose lives have been changed by the promotion. In today’s draw, Hadija Nakayenga and Elom Mobile Services walked away with the top prizes of the week – 10 million shillings and a brand new motor bike respectively – and the other winners took home one million shillings each.

As of today, 220 million shillings have been given out to daily and weekly winners (subscribers) and four brand new motor cycles have been given out to four agents.

Nakayenga, today’s 10 million shillings winner and a [occupation and place of residence] commended Airtel Uganda for being an honest brand.

“I have been using Airtel Money for transacting; Sending money, airtime and even paid my water bill. I am very happy that Airtel has rewarded us with this promotion. Thank you Airtel,” she commented.

Launched in December 2018, the 90-day promotion rewards all customers that carry out a financial transaction such as cash deposits and withdrawals, sending cash, buying Airtime or Data, sending cash straight from Bank to Wallet, Wallet to Bank & Bill Payments. On transacting, all customers and agent numbers are uploaded into a randomizer to pick the lucky winners with five lucky customers winning 1 million shillings each (5 million shillings daily, 1 million for each) and 1 lucky customer winning 10 million shillings in the weekly grand draw. Additionally, 1 lucky agent wins 1 million shillings daily and another wins 1 motorbike in the weekly draw.

Commenting about the new promotion, Lynda Nabayinda, the Customer Service Director at Airtel Uganda congratulated this week’s winners and noted that subscribers are already changing their lives with the money that they have won in this promotion.

“I encourage you to continue transacting via Airtel Money and stand a chance to win. So far, we have very many subscribers who have won money just like you and are now expanding their businesses and starting new ones. I encourage you to emulate them,” she noted.

Ms Nabayinda called upon all Ugandans to use Airtel Money to pay their school fees and reduce on the lines in banking halls this school fees season.
