The State Minister for Refugees, Relief and Disaster Preparedness in the Office of the Prime Minister and Kitgum District Woman MP, Hon. Lillian Aber, has encouraged S.6 candidates of Old Kampala Senior Secondary School to remain focused, disciplined and prayerful as they prepare for their UACE examinations.
Hon. Aber, an Old Girl of the school and former Head Girl, made the remarks while speaking as the Guest of Honour at the S.6 Candidates’ Dedication Ceremony held today at the school.
She urged the candidates to approach the exams with calmness, confidence and integrity.
“My journey at Old Kampala Senior Secondary School, where I once served as Head Girl, remains a special part of my story. It was therefore an honour to return to my alma mater as Guest of Honour at the S.6 Candidates’ Dedication Ceremony,” she said.
“I encouraged the candidates to remain focused, disciplined and prayerful as they prepare for their UACE examinations, reminding them of our school motto, ‘We Persevere.’ I urged them to believe in themselves, uphold integrity and approach their examinations with confidence, wishing them success and excellent results,” Hon. Aber added.
