Kira Young Foundation CEO and founder Lukwago Jimmy has described the death of Hon. Matovu Charles as a great loss to the nation and the people of Busiro.
Matovu, the former Busiro South MP, died at 41 last week following a sudden illness.
Lukwago, alias Kira Young, was among thousands of mourners who turned up for his final send-off yesterday in Busiro, Wakiso District.
He eulogized the late as a hardworking leader who was committed to serving the people of Busiro wholeheartedly.
At the time of his death, Matovu had filed an election petition challenging the victory of Hon. Kenan Opio for the Busiro South seat, a case that now lapses following his demise.
