Kampala: Speke Resort Munyonyo and the Indian Association of Uganda invite the public to the Diwali Food Festival 2026 on Sunday, 1 November 2026, at Speke Resort Munyonyo in Kampala.
Open to everyone, the festival will bring families, friends and communities together for a colourful celebration of Indian cuisine, culture and the spirit of Diwali. Gates open at 2:30 p.m., with a spectacular fireworks display scheduled for 8:00 p.m.
Visitors can explore a variety of food stalls serving flavours from different regions of India, alongside shopping stalls, drinks, music and family entertainment. A dedicated children’s play area will offer activities for younger guests, making the festival a day out for the whole family.
The celebration will reflect the spirit of Diwali, the Festival of Lights, bringing people together in friendship, unity and festivities. Fireworks will also be available for purchase at the event.
