Rujumbura Constituency Rukungiri District MP who also doubles as Security Minister, Hon. Jim Muhwezi, has hailed friends, People of Rujumbura and the entire country for turning up in big numbers at his recently hosted Thanksgiving function in Rujumbura.
He lauded the people of Rujumbura Constituency for trusting him with the mandate for all these years and still going on strong. The Thanksgiving function was in appreciation of his recent Parliamentary victory and his appointment as the Minister again.
“On behalf of my family, I want to thank you, my friends, Muhoozi Kainerugaba, Thomas Tayebwa, colleagues MPs & Cabinet Ministers, PLU secretariat CEC Members led by VC Toyota Kaguta, SG Hon Twalla Fadil, Asiimwe Onesimus, and everyone who made today special,” Hon. Jim Muhwezi shared after the function.
Hon. Alice Kaboyo said it was a privilege for her to be in Rukungiri with colleagues from Government and the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) to share in the Thanksgiving of their Senior Comrade, Hon. Maj. Gen. Jim Muhwezi.
She congratulated Hon. Jim, his wife Ms Susan Muhwezi and their family for the successful ceremony and also commended the people of Rujumbura and Rukungiri for the warm welcome and strong participation.
