Thousands of young people gathered at Wava Theatre, Kyengera–Mugongo, for the second edition of the Street Foundation Jam Battle, held under the inspiring theme “Dance for a Purpose.” The event brought together young dancers and creatives to celebrate talent, creativity, self-expression and positive youth engagement.

As a notable guest and Chief Executive Officer of the Queen Birungi Amber Foundation, Queen Birungi Amber Grace applauded the organisers for creating a platform where young people can discover, develop and showcase their talents.

She emphasized that talent is more than entertainment—it can give young people purpose, build confidence, strengthen relationships and provide positive avenues for self-expression. She encouraged the youth to believe in their abilities and use their talents constructively.

Queen Birungi Amber Grace also stressed the importance of education, discipline and guidance, urging young people not to abandon school because of their talents. She encouraged them to respect and listen to their parents and guardians while remaining focused on their future aspirations.
