Isingiro West Constituency MP hopeful Agaba Gerald Katohire has said time is now for new crop of leases to serve.

Gerald who is set to battle it out for Isingiro West Constituency in Isingiro District come 2026 said he is not backing up as he demands for accountability from all leaders. Below is his full statement;

“Fellow Ugandans, especially the vibrant youth of Isingiro West Constituency,

Today, I stand before you as a spokesman, a voice for the voiceless, and a beacon of hope for the future. We, the new generation, are tired of being silenced, tired of being marginalized, and tired of being oppressed.

We are fed up with the status quo, where corruption, nepotism, and cronyism have become the norm. We are disgusted by the rampant poverty, the lack of opportunities, and the systematic inequality.

But we will not be held back by the shackles of the past. We will not be deterred by the naysayers and the skeptics. We will rise up, we will speak out, and we will demand change.

We demand quality education, not just for the privileged few, but for every child in Isingiro West Constituency. We demand decent healthcare, not just for the wealthy, but for every citizen. We demand economic empowerment, not just for the connected, but for every hardworking Ugandan.

We will no longer be held hostage by the political elite, who have squandered our resources and betrayed our trust. We will no longer be divided by tribalism, sectarianism, and regionalism. We will unite, we will organize, and we will take back our country.

So, let this be a warning to those who have held us back for too long. Let this be a call to action for those who share our vision. We, the new generation, are the future, and we will not be silenced.
