2026 Updates: Namisindwa District Woman MP hopeful Zemoyi Irene Prossy wants teachers catered for well

Ms Zemoyi Irene Prossy aka ZIP who wants to contest for Namisindwa District Woman MP seat come 2026 wants to see teachers catered for well because they are one of the engines of development in any country.

She said once she is elected, she would advocate for better pay for all teachers across the country.

Ms Zemoyi Irene Prossy who herself is a teacher by profession said after organizing a debate tournament, guidance and counseling session and skills development for the youths of Namisindwa last week.

Prossy who already has a strong team on the ground mobilizing for support ahead of the big battle said she is ready and set to serve the people of Namisindwa District.

“I want to advocate for good pay for teachers as well as other sectors, give me your support and we develop Namisindwa together,” she said.
