2026 Updates: Mbabazi Peace Tibamanya vows to take Kooki County MP seat

Mrs Mbabazi Peace Tibamanya has defied all odds and she has officially announced that she will contest for Kooki County in Rakai District MP seat come 2026.

Mbabazi’s team is already on the ground mobilizing for serious support and she has vowed to uproot male from the seat.

“People think this seat is for male but that’s not true, I am here to challenge that from 2026. I am the voice and the bridge of Kooki, I call upon everyone in Kooki to support me so that we turn our constituency into a modern one,” Hon. Mbabazi said.

She wants to see an effective representation of people’s views as well as timely service delivery.

Hon. Mbabazi also wants to improve on health, education, market, transport, water and electricity and also support saving schemes as a way of improving household income in the area.

Mbabazi holds a Bachelors Degree in Development Studies from Uganda Christian University (UCU) and
Masters in Human Resources from UMI.
