As 2026 general elections fever catches up, the latest here is that Mr. Kabuunga Ibrahim who hails from Luwuube town has declared his intentions to contest for Member of Parliament for Katikamu North in Luweero District.

Ibrahim says he wants to see new leadership take over Katikamu.

He wants to see an improved service delivery by lobbying for funds to improve the sectors of education, health, transport, agriculture, sports, trade, Security and religion.
