As the 2026 General Elections get closer, more personalities are coming up to show their interests. The latest we have is Ms Daphine Nakasumba who has set her plans on contesting for Kassanda District Woman MP seat again.
Ms Nakasumba is the favourite to topple Hon. Flavia Nabagobe, the current MP who has not been performing to expectations of the voters.
Daphine wants developmental and transparent leadership in Kassanda District. She wants to see improved service delivery in the area especially in education, health, transport, household income through improved agriculture methods and much more.
She also wants to support women and youth especially in Saccos to create a working generation and fight crime.
Daphine has been moving around the district mobilizing for support as she preaches message of unity and development.
