2026 Updates: Bungokho South MP hopeful Agnes Wazemwa Wabuyi equips girls with individual skills

Bungokho South Constituency Member of Parliament hopeful Ms Agnes Wazemwa Wabuyi over the weekend  sponsored some of the young girls on individual skills.

Ms Agnes got friends to train girls at Busiu Town Council in Bungokho South on how to make reusable sanitary pads.

Ms Agnes Wazemwa said this will encourage the girl child to stay in school as these are some of the challenges that push young girls out of school.

In the same vein, the girls were encouraged to use the skills for economic gain by making reusable sanitary pads for their own use and for sale.

She provided the girls and women with materials and promised to get them modern machines for making pads and other training.

On top of equipping them with skills, she also donated some pads to them for use.

With such, it shows Agnes’ willingness to rescue Bungokho South Constituency from the current state and turn it into a modern Constituency.
